Appointments & Fees

Therapeutic work thrives in a space of safety, clarity, and mutual respect. Because of this, I believe in 

keeping the practical side of our journey completely open and straightforward, ensuring you always know what to expect. Below are the practical arrangements that allow us to manage our time together with 

clarity and care.

How We Begin

• The Initial Chat: A free 15-minute phone call to discuss what you are looking for and ensure we are a good fit.

Session Availability

• Days & Hours: I am available every Thursday from 09:00 to 18:00 and on  Friday and Saturday from 16:00 to 18:00.
• Session Length: Each regular therapeutic session lasts for 50 minutes.

Your Counselling Options

I provide both short-term therapy and open-ended, long-term support. We can talk through what timeline feels best for you during our first meeting and review it naturally as our work progresses.

• In-Person Sessions: Face-to-face counselling is available in a private, welcoming space at Athena House.
• Online Sessions: Secure online therapy is conducted via Microsoft Teams, allowing you to log in from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Fees

• Initial Consultation (15 mins): Free
• Standard Session (50 mins): £50
• Concessions available for low-income individuals
• Payment Method: Payments are made via bank transfer (BACS) 48 hours before each session. I will share my bank details with you prior to our first meeting.

Cancellation Policy

I completely understand that unexpected events happen and plans sometimes need to change. To allow me to offer the time slot to another client, please note the following:

• Notice Required: Please provide at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellations.
• How to Cancel: You can easily send a quick notification via WhatsApp message or email.
• Late Notice Fee: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a £20 fee.
